Variations on a Theme: Vessels from RAM's Collection
Variations on a Theme: Vessels from RAM’s Collection is the second in a series of exhibitions surveying the landscape of craft through theory, design, and history.
The 50 plus examples on display in this exhibition—made of clay, glass, and metal and pulled from RAM’s extensive holdings of contemporary craft—underscore the idea that there are many ways to interpret or investigate what a vessel could or should look like. Includes the work of well-regarded artists such as Ralph Bacerra, Kim Cridler, Dan Dailey, Ruth Duckworth, Tony Marsh, Gustavo Perez, Ann Wolff, and Betty Woodman.
