Description: The Two Rivers Historical Society is dedicated to preserving James Edward Hamilton's unsurpassed wood type legacy by creating a world-class museum in the town where he lived. The museum is the world's only one dedicated to the preservation, study, production, and printing of wood type. Among other activities, the museum hosts field trips by local schools, sponsors workshops and provides opportunities for artists, printers, historians and others to use the collection for educational and research activities.
