Description: The History Center is the home of the Chippewa County Historical Society and the Chippewa County Genealogy Society. The building, which was formerly the Notre Dame Convent, was built in 1883 and the Historical and Genealogy Societies moved there in 1990. Adjacent to the center is the refurbished Goldsmith Chapel; the chapel is open for public viewing when the Center is open. Call for hours of operation.
