Description: Riveredge Nature Center was one of the first and today is one of the largest nature centers in southeastern Wisconsin. It consists of 370 acres of natural sanctuary – prairies, forests, ponds and marshes along the Milwaukee River. Along with the property, Riveredge's educational programs are supported by various buildings, which are also available to rent for parties, weddings, mettings and other uses.
Visitor Center hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
