Description: Interpretive tours of the historic site; daily guided tours provide information about the earliest periods of Wisconsin history; tours include the historic fur trade posts, reconstructed 1802-1804 fur trade company houses, and woodland Indian village; the living history tours are presented by traditionally dressed interpreters. Also rotating exhibits in visitor's center, including logging era self-guided tour. Fort provides special activities throughout program year, including Great Folle Avoine Fur Trade Rendezvous in July.
Open May 25 through September 1, Wed.-Sun., 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and at other times for special events. Cost for admission: $5 for age 12 and over, $4 for children 6-12, kids five and under free. Family rate is $12.00 and group rate (30 or more people) is $4.00 per person.
