Description: Howard Morey's boyhood home, located on Park Avenue in Birchwood, has been restored by the Birchwood Historical Society to an early 20th-century homestead. One room of the two-story house gathers Morey memorabilia.
Birchwood native Howard Morey had a distinguished career in aviation. He built Morey Airport in Middleton and owned a flight school which instructed pilots during WWII. Morey retained the Birchwood house as a vacation home until his death in 1995.
