Description: The museum is located on the society's property on the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and South Oak Street housed in the late 1800 Norwegian Methodist Church. The original Burnett County Jail, a three-cell wooden building utilized from 1870-1902, is located on the property. The 1800 Stenborg House built by the village blacksmith, is presently under renovation.
Museum and jail are open Sundays, 1:00-4:00 p.m., Memorial Day-Labor Day or by appointment. Call (715) 689-2374.
