Description: The Bell Tierney Farmhouse is the hub of the Heritage Center. This classic example of Victorian, Italianate architecture is just one of nine historic buildings. Others include an 1887 Log Cabin (built by Norwegian immigrants), the 1933 Ubet Store (a typical, rural, general store) and our 1902 Camp Nine School (classic one-room style). The New Richmond Preservation Society, Inc. owns and operates the center which showcases local history, as well as an 11-acre trail system called the Paperjack Greenway which has been planted over with species of flora found by our early settlers. Call for more information concerning our tours, programs and events. Call toll free (888) 320-3276.
