Growing up in a family that moved frequently instilled in me a very distinct sense of home. Processing that now, as a young adult, I have begun my artistic career with such questions as "what is home?" and "where is home?" and have found printmaking as a valuable means of exploring these, and other, significant life questions.
Using symbols as creative language, and layering color, texture and shape, I am attempting to answer these questions. While this process of question-and-answer is very personal, I find that many viewers can identify with it, as it deals with fundamental human issues.
