Artist statement
The use of decorative and functional ceramics builds a bridge between art and life. In our daily lives, we develope relationships with objects through their use. We surround ourselves with things that look pleasing and things that are comfortable. In a society where nearly all the objects we use are designed by computers and produced by machines, I choose to make things which can be a part of life, vessels that can be used and enjoyed, objects that are unique and one of a kind.

B.F.A., Art, concentration in Studio Arts/Ceramics
My works have been selected for juried exibitions in the past such as Ceramics USA 2003 at the University of North Texas, The Wichita National 2003, and others. I currently exhibit works for sale in northwestern Wisconsin.
