Direct Purchase 2007 - Call for Artists

What is Direct Purchase?

Twenty-three Wisconsin State facilities have Percent for Art funds available to purchase artwork, ranging between $650-$17,750. If you are a visual artist residing in Wisconsin, and would like your existing fine artwork to be considered for purchase by these agencies, you may apply to participate in the Direct Purchase Program. Get the full story by reading the 2007 Direct Purchase Prospectus (available here for download).

How to Apply

Please follow this three-step process:

Step 1. Read the complete Direct Purchase 2007 Prospectus. Review the requests agencies are making to help you select the work that will be most appropriate or desired by the state facilities participating. Download the 2007 Prospectus here.

Step 2. Complete the Online Registration here.

Step 3. Mail your application CD. This CD must include your digital images (up to five), your artist resume, and the completed image list form. This form tells us what each image is and contains important information about digital image requirements. Download the Image List Form here (UPDATED 8/30). Complete instructions are on the form itself. After saving all three items to a CD, and confirming this can be opened on a Windows PC, mail it to the address below:
