Madison Weavers Guild Exhibit
The Madison Weavers Guild began in 1949 with a group of 24 weavers who were taking classes at the Madison Vocational School with the purpose of promoting interest in and appreciation for the skill of hand weaving. The group now has 30 members from the southeast Wisconsin area, including Madison, Mount Horeb, Marshall and Pardeeville. Many of the members have been recognized nationally for their work.
The purpose of this organization is to promote interest, appreciation and skill in weaving.
