It's fitting that one of the voices in this segment belongs to Wilda Nilsestuen, the director of the Future of Farming study. Wilda and other participants in this segment talk about how to best ensure healthy futures for Wisconsin’s rural communities. It is a tremendous task with many facets, and we are able to touch on just a few here. But the topics we’ve chosen include some of the highest priorities that emerged from the Future of Farming and Rural Life in Wisconsin study. I think all participants in this entire project can agree that to have a healthy rural community, residents need to be proactive.
