The Gift of Life This presentation is an "Academy Evening" that was delivered at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art in Madison, Wis., on April 29, 2008. "Academy Evenings" are organized by the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters. Surgeon Hans Sollinger helped build the UW Hospital organ transplantation center into one of the largest in the world. What promise does organ transplantation hold for us today and for our future?
