Dimensions in Sound
Dimensions in Sound is a sixteen-piece ballroom dance band which performs ballroom classics from the 1930s to the present. The band consists of five saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets, piano, bass guitar and drums. Formed in 1976, the band performs in Dane County nursing homes and retirement centers. From September to May, the band is also available for fundraising dances for nonprofit groups. (Excerpted from the 2001-2004 Dane County Cultural Resources Directory.)
