MacDowell Male Chorus
A group of men who come together from September to May to volunteer their time and talents to music. Practice is on Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Appleton East High School. Concerts are at various locations throughout the region, ending with several home concerts in Appleton. The MacDowell Male Chorus is a nonprofit organization.
Since 1934, the Chorus has performed more than 500 times in more than 50 cities and has appeared several times on television and radio. Memorized music is a MacDowell tradition. The men have over than 500 songs in their repertoire.
