Walls of Wittenberg, Inc.
Walls of Wittenberg, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, was created in 2005 to bring out the beauty and unique character of the Wittenberg area in a way that revitalizes the downtown, honors the history of the area and attracts visitors.
We offer an art gallery--open 24/7--with 17 murals painted on downtown buildings. All have been created by Wisconsin artists, each with their unique styles which vary from pop art and optical illusions to representational art of times gone by. An Art Park adds to this visual potpourri with the work of four sculptors: "Recycled Rising Sun" by Miles Amorelli, "Zoe" by Jim Budish, "Soaring Spirit" by Sara Balbin and "We Move with Conviction" by Nathan Hatch. An elegantly restored 1800s mercantile store--the WOWSPACE--provides the venue for art shows and concerts.
