Description: Milton House Museum, a stop on the Underground Railroad, is a National Historic Landmark and the only museum in Wisconsin to be part of the National Park Service's Network to Freedom. The 1844 hexagonal stagecoach inn is contructed of grout made by Joseph Goodrich, founder of Milton. A stop not only for stagecoach and railroad travelers but for refugees on the Underground Railroad. A tunnel connects the 1838 log cabin to the inn and is part of the tour.
