Description: The Black Earth Depot/Museum is the former Black Earth Depot. The current structure was constructed/moved/expanded sometime between 1857 and 1870 at its present location. With the assistance of the village government, local businesses and organizations, and the citizens of Black Earth and the surrounding valley, this depot was turned over to the Black Earth Historical Society and transformed into a facility that informs and educates its patrons on the history of our community and the surrounding area.
