Artist statement
I strive to explore the beauty and uniqueness of the world around me in whatever form that may take. From the smallest details to sweeping panoramas there is much to appreciate and celebrate, whether that be in a field near my home, the shores of Lake Michigan or some exotic locale. It is the mission of the photographer to "see" the special in the mundane and the fascinating details of every day life.
Biography
Self-taught and widely published in magazines, books, calenders and more. Winner of numerous photography contests, including Grand Prize Winner of the 2009 Wisconsin Trails Photo Contest. Exhibitor in the 2010 "Eight Counties" art exhibit at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center.
