Artist statement
I am primarily a landscape and architectural photographer. My pictures, while edited in Photoshop, are only superficially enhanced. (e.g., sharpened and color corrected).
I try to have my pictures show what everyone sees but somehow remains unseen.
I am still working desperately hard to make the most of color, line and shape to make the most impact with my photos.
All prints are currently printed on an Epson 2200 printer using archival paper (matte only at this time). I also mat my own prints.
Biography
I am self-taught but did take a short course in photography given by Lon Lauber at the University of Alaska. I am retired from the U.S. Navy and from the State of Wisconsin. I have lived continuously in the Madison area for over 13 years.
