Artist statement
As a graduate of the University of Wisconsin (B.S., 1951) and University of Wisconsin-Stout (M.S., 1978) and followed by my retirement from teaching in 1992, I have found the opportunity to spend full time in the studio. These paintings were done since retirement and were a few done within these series: "On the Road" (places I have visited) and "Grasses" (landscapes I have seen).
Biography
I have taught in Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin (Milwaukee Art Center, Waukesha, Eau Claire Academy, Menomonie, Stout Childrens Program [started it in 1967]).
