Artist statement
The goal and thrill of painting is to capture that experience or moment in time on canvas. Solving the problems and working through the difficulties along the way makes the journey as enjoyable for me as the finished product.
Biography
Sue Herring is a life long resident of Wisconsin and is self taught by studying the works of the masters. Her work ranges from plein air to portraits to trompe l’oeil and she continues to experiment with new styles and subject matter.
