Artist statement
Each of my pieces holds a special niche, capturing the candor of figures, the vitality of plant life and the pleasing curves of the abstract. I am known for work reflective of artistic skill, broad awareness and expansive character. These, combined with sensitivity to color and imagery transform insight into vivid paintings on canvas. Biography
Nancy Peidelstein developed a serious interest early in her life and has continued to involve herself in the art world on many levels. She has exhibited and sold a variety of artwork throughout Wisconsin and in the Chicago area. She holds a B.A./B.S.W. from Syracuse University in Selected Studies in Art, Spanish and Social Work and has pursued all three areas of interest throughout adulthood. Shows and stores displaying her work in a variety of mediums have included Al. Ringling Theatre Stage III Gallery (Baraboo, Wis.), Sauk County West Square Building, Water Tower Art Fair (Chicago), and Shakti Book Shop (Madison, Wis.).
