Artist statement
Aicher's work portrays what he calls the symphony of nature. Each piece is a reflection of a moment in time when all elements harmonize. This is formed by lines, values, textures and even sounds that give infinite possibilities without ever repeating or duplicating. Experiencing this concerto can open the doors to our emotions and appeal to our Spirituality, bringing awareness to the nuances of life. Great light alone is gorgeous, but when these and other elements are added, a symphony of sight and sound is realized. His objective is to use his abilities to capture the essence of this spectacle in its natural state.
Aicher graduated with a degree in photography from Milwaukee Area Technical College and has spent the last 21 years photographing, eleven of these professionally. His appreciation of the earth's beauty has brought him to many diverse areas of this country and Canada. His lens has captured scenes from Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Arizona, and the province of Ontario, Canada. His work has been displayed in many galleries and group exhibitions within the Midwest and especially the Great Lakes area. His photographs have also been honored with awards and recognition at many art festivals that he participates in throughout the Midwest.
