Artist statement
I have spent over four decades searching for self-realization through my art. It has been an adventurous combination of experiences and experiments. I have studied traditional and non-traditional materials and techniques for means to express my creativity. I am drawn to color, form, movement and texture, and the sub-conscious expression of those elements in both my realistic and abstract work.
I subscribe to the words of Renoir when asked about his painting: "I think that I'm beginning to learn something about it." And about myself.
